We just left after a wonderful week in Gérardmer. The chalet was spotless, with a tastefully decorated interior and a lovely terrace looking out over the lake. Its location was very convenient, and the owners gave us a warm welcome. Thanks to them, we'd be glad to return! 👍

A car is needed to get to the center of Gérardmer if you're less adventurous. The gravel path around the house is lovely, and there's a large wooden table and bench, lounge chairs, plus other amenities in the room beside the chalet. It's a good fit for two to four people. The place is very well located and beautiful inside and out, with simple essentials and tasteful decor rather than much luxury. The owners are very friendly. I recommend it.

We loved the short nature trail down to the lake and town, and the chalet sits just above them with a lovely south-facing terrace. It was comfortable, welcoming, and the owners were so friendly. We’ll definitely return. A really lovely place, highly recommended.

The lake-view location is hard to beat. The chalet was very clean and had excellent amenities, and the owners made us feel welcome. I’d happily recommend it.
