The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, and you can’t hear the road from the terrace. The chalet is comfortable, with a beautiful view of the ski slopes and mountains. The kitchen is a little dated but has everything you need to cook good meals. It’s only a few minutes to the lake by bike, though the climb back is steep and takes some stamina. Still, it’s manageable.

We had a positive experience with no flaws, and the owner gave us a warm welcome. Our sheets were the wrong size, and the owner kindly waived the rental fee for a replacement set. The chalet has a spacious, well-equipped interior, with all the amenities and a working fireplace in the living room. It sits in a quiet residential cul-de-sac, with shops nearby and the lake and ski slopes 10 minutes away. For summer, the terrace is well equipped with a barbecue, folding chairs, a table, and a parasol. Excellent value for money.

We had a fantastic stay. The chalet is thoughtfully laid out and very well equipped, with a washing machine, Wi-Fi, three bedrooms, two toilets, and one shower. There’s a cot and high chair in the storage room, and each bedroom has a terrace overlooking Gérardmer. It’s quiet, close to amenities, and right by walking trails for getting out into nature.
