I especially enjoyed the company and conversation with Marine and Pierre. They were generous hosts from the moment I arrived. My room was comfortable and tastefully decorated, and the salon and lounge were lovely places to sit and read. The meals they made were exquisite, all fresh, homemade and locally sourced. I’d absolutely stay here again!

Marine and Pierre are lovely, welcoming people, and the dinner they made was superb. The atmosphere was wonderful. I recommend spending a night or more at this hote d'hotes, and be sure to have dinner too.

What stood out most was how kind and personal the hosts were. They serve delicious breakfast and an excellent supper made with local products, which can become a really nice social occasion. We enjoyed our stay, the rooms were comfortable and lovely, and there’s a beautiful garden where guests can relax.

I left early to climb the Tourmalet, and the location is ideal for it: 10 km of warming up, then up you go. Pierre gave me customized service at an outstanding breakfast. The welcome was very warm, and my room was comfortable, spacious, well equipped and nicely decorated.

The room was spacious, clean and beautifully decorated, and the bed made for a restful night. The attention to detail and amenities added to the stay. At La Bigourdane, the hosts made us feel welcome right away, and their warmth shaped the whole visit. Dinner and breakfast were delicious, hearty and beautifully presented, with impressive variety and quality. You could tell a lot of care went into each meal. We’d highly recommend it for a charming, memorable getaway.
