Even with other groups nearby, the cottages are well designed, well equipped, and quiet at night. It's a lovely place by the river, where you can eat outside, walk around, and keep cool in summer. We got a very friendly welcome. Highly recommended for any season or occasion.

The rooms are lovely, and the kitchen is great too. It's a very pretty, welcoming place.

We were six adults and three children staying overnight. The beds were very comfortable, even the ones in the living room, which we mostly used as our bedroom. We spent the day and evening in the garden beside the cottage, scrambled over some rocks, and walked to Clisson. The surroundings are beautiful. The kitchen could maybe do with one or two extra pots for a larger family, so we brought some of our own.

The covered dining area was a real bonus, and with lovely weather we spent most of our time outside. The river and shady, wooded park are beautiful, but the cottages badly need renovation and repairs. They're dark, the doors creak, and there's a musty smell. We were also missing basics like bedside tables and lamps, and the broken roller blind stayed that way all week, leaving the room gloomy. Walkers were very intrusive too. The busy path runs between the cottages and the park, and people set up camp almost anywhere without considering that it's private property. The signs need improvement.
