I got there at 10:30 pm and asked for a room. I said I'd go get my bag and be back in half an hour. The man said that was fine and he'd open the door for me. I hurried back within the half hour, but he didn't let me in. My phone battery had died, so I couldn't look for somewhere else to stay and ended up sleeping on the street. Luckily, I'm a strong person. I could never understand the wars in the world, but this man showed me, because he knew he wasn't going to let me in. There was no compassion or kindness, quite the opposite. I was so angry out in the cold that I could easily have thrown a brick through his window, but decided God would determine his fate.

We missed the bus to Montpellier from Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert, so we spent the night here. The beds were nice, it was quiet and clean, and the administrator was German. I'll use the place for the Santiago de Compostela hike.

The location is good, and it isn't too crowded. Rooms are very clean and get cleaned every day. Breakfast was okay, though not the best.

We had a fantastic stay at Le Vieux Moulin in Gignac. The hotel was quiet and friendly, and the staff were excellent, always smiling and attentive. The breakfast buffet had plenty of choice and was a great way to start the day. Dogs are allowed, which was a big plus for us. We'd gladly return.
