La Ferme Intention

Just minutes from Nevers, but it feels like getting away to another world. The renovation throughout is tasteful, and there’s a lot here: guest rooms, a restaurant, an air-conditioned reception hall, a screening room, and even animals. What a magnificent place for events, for example!

The place is sublime and really convenient, with accommodation available, and the staff are welcoming and ready to respond to requests. Still, getting things arranged with management was complicated. Replies were missing, and the information changed or conflicted during preparations. I’d recommend it, but with some reservations, since the logistics weren’t always straightforward.

There are reception rooms, kitchens, a bar, bedrooms, a screening room, and a lovely courtyard, all in a charming rural setting. You can stay overnight too, which can come in handy. With no neighbors, it’s ideal for a big celebration. The tastefully renovated farmhouse sits just before the Domaine du Grand Bois. One of the most characterful reception venues in Nevers, and highly recommended.

Dinner was fantastic, with excellent ingredients prepared expertly, and the whole stay felt warm and welcoming. The setting is magnificent, and all the staff were incredibly friendly. We had a wonderful time and will definitely come back. Thanks to everyone for the hospitality!
