La Bastide de Courcelles

The garden is magnificent, and the breakfast was superb. We also found the value unbeatable. The building has so much charm, with tasteful decor that made us feel comfortable and at home right away. The owners are lovely, sociable, passionate, and interesting. We enjoyed spending time with them, and they still gave us all the space we needed to be independent. It would suit families wanting to reconnect, couples hoping to unwind, or solo travelers looking for a quiet place to relax. A true gem. Go without hesitation.

The house sits back from the road, so it was absolutely peaceful, while still close to the surrounding villages. Breakfast was excellent, with local products like melon jam and honey harvested on the property. We had a perfect night in a cozy, very comfortable room. The children's room is behind the main bedroom, which felt more secure. The owners were warm, welcoming, and happy to chat about all kinds of things. I highly recommend this charming house.

Our children felt at home straight away, and they even enjoyed scaring us 😅. It made for a very entertaining family stay of two nights. We appreciated the quiet setting and the warm welcome from our hosts. The beds were very comfortable, and the decor reflected the building's history. Breakfast was traditional, made with quality products. Défi Planète (Planet Challenge) is just 10 minutes away, with many other activities nearby. Thanks for a lovely stay. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and Christine took exceptional care of her guests. Both owners were delightful. We stayed at La Bastide as a family and had a wonderful room. The beautiful period furniture and exquisite taste made it feel like we'd been transported to another century. I highly recommend this place.
