Hotel Fasthome

The hall smelled like rubbish, and the hotel had a strong cockroach smell. Most rooms seem to have mold. When I received packages, the manager seemed to enjoy handing them to just anyone. I also strongly suspect the cleaning staff stole from me: whenever they came in, valuables and clothes went missing. I really can't recommend this hotel.

There were only two sockets in the room, both in the middle rather than beside the bed, and some light switches didn't work. The floor was lifting, bathroom fittings were coming loose, and about half the tiles were missing. With the lights out and a candle, it almost looked good if you kept your eyes shut. :D Parking was free but limited. Nobody at the hotel spoke English, only French. Breakfast was mediocre, though the coffee was good. I'd eat at a café instead. Definitely wouldn't come back or recommend it.

We paid in full for several rooms, then got word from the hotel just 24 hours before arrival that they wouldn't be available. Since June 2017 we've been waiting for the 1900 Euros to be refunded, and Mr. Benetoux has been ignoring us. A shabby place run by a thief.

Getting around from here was easy. The RER D station is a short walk away, and there's a tobacconist nearby. Leclerc shopping center is also close. Bus 20 toward the Parc des Expositions train station takes you to Gonesse hospital in one stop.
