We stayed two nights in room 14. It was clean and had no smell, and the hotel was quiet despite being in an industrial area. The front desk was helpful when I had questions. This isn't a five-star place, but it was clean and quiet. Getting into Paris takes over an hour, with several transfers on public transport. I needed the Bonjour RATP app to find my way. You can buy a single day Navigo pass there, not the Paris Visite pass unless you need to travel to and from the airport. There's no airport shuttle. For the bus from CDG, take 9502 at terminal CDG 1, Roissypole, pillar B4, to La Malmaison.

I paid full price for one night and got a door card, but after going shopping I came back at midnight and couldn't get in because the card wouldn't work. I was stuck outside in the cold until 7:00 am, with nobody in the office to help. When staff came back and I explained what had happened, they didn't respond or apologize. It was a really upsetting experience during my one night in Paris.

The bed linen and pillow were filthy and smelled bad, with hairs all over them. It clearly hadn't been cleaned. Planes were very loud, and paying 450 Euro for two nights at this hotel is outrageous. Get another hotel.

I was hoping to stay near gere du Nord Paris, but Gonese is more than an hour away. Luckily, getting around by train and bus was easy.

During the Paris Airshow, the rooms cost €200 a night, yet three of the six rooms in our party had broken air conditioning. With temperatures reaching 37°C in the day, the rooms were like ovens by evening, and there wasn't much urgency about fixing the units. The breakfast buffet was limited too. Outside the show period, this could be an okay motel-style option for budget travelers if the price were right.
