Anelys Château du Bocage

We were comfortable from the moment Cathy and Pascal welcomed us. The place felt peaceful and idyllic, almost like home, and we loved our stay in the beautifully renovated castle. Our room was spacious and lovely, with a great view over the grounds and very comfortable bedding. The bathroom was just as beautiful and roomy. Outside, the extensive grounds were a real treat to look at. Breakfast was generous, with plenty of variety. We'd love to come back. Thanks, Cathy and Pascal, for such a wonderful stay. The hosts, Cathy and Pascal, were delightful, and the service, accommodation and location all felt perfect. The château is a fairytale place, full of thoughtful little details, and photos usually don't do a place justice, but here they really matched what we found. Each room has its own design and feels luxurious, with breathtaking views of the beautifully landscaped garden. The whole château shows how an old building can be renewed while keeping its charm. Breakfast was incredibly delicious, made with fresh, regional and homemade products. In Michelin Guide terms, it's a truly unique place to stay, well worth the trip. We're already looking forward to visiting again.

We had a wonderful weekend at this romantic, beautifully renovated castle. Cathy and Pascal welcomed us so warmly, like family. Everywhere you look, there's something lovely to notice, from the decor and comfortable bedding to the fresh flowers in the rooms and the grounds. The generous breakfast included local products and a delicious homemade cake. The tableware was exquisite and changed every morning, making breakfast a treat for the eyes and the palate. It's only a few minutes by car from Honfleur, and the owners kindly lent us bicycles to explore the charming village. We also had a lovely time meeting the two adorable donkey mascots, Léonard and Lazard. We could pet and feed them. Booking on the castle's website instead of Booking.com saves a little money ;) We highly recommend it. Thanks, Pascal and Cathy. See you soon!
