This is brilliant for a city visit. The facilities are good, and the pitches are a reasonable size and fairly level, though you may need ramps. Everything was good until families arrived for the holiday weekend. The children were left to wander between pitches without an adult, and for some reason kept hanging around the shower and toilet blocks, asking people where the facilities were. Parents, please show some respect for other campers and tell your children to do the same!

We turned up without a reservation and stayed two nights on a lovely level pitch. The toilets and showers were basic but very clean and well maintained, and a food truck was on site both nights, which suited us perfectly. It's a lovely campsite, just a short walk from Bourges's historic center. The city is beautiful, with medieval half-timbered houses and a huge cathedral dating back to the 12th century. Great location.

Manon at reception was always smiling and helpful, and even called our next site to check on the serious road disruption nearby. Our pitch was really generous in size, with electric hookup and a water tap, for €80 including taxes. We booked three nights and ended up staying four. The facilities blocks were very clean, and town was an easy 20-minute walk. We'll be back. If you're there on a Monday evening, the pizza hut from 6 to 8 was really good.
