Le Relais de la Poste

The boulangerie is right downstairs in the building. Waking up to the smell of bread baking is lovely, and it’s easy to head down for fresh croissants and bread at breakfast.

The rooms are lovely, tastefully decorated, spotless, and all air-conditioned. The location is ideal, and the atmosphere was just right. We got a warm welcome at the Point Chaud, which handles breakfast, and the owner replied quickly when we called. I highly recommend it.

For this room price, I expected much better, and I’m furious that I can no longer get a refund. Before I booked, I called the manager and he assured me the restaurants were open, but all the nearby ones were closed. He also never explained the ordeal of finding the room. We wandered around for half an hour before anyone helped us locate it, and my husband had to call to get the entry code. The room was freezing, the sheets seemed questionable, and each of us had only one small towel. A hotel is supposed to be welcoming! This is the second hotel in the area, and I’m left with the impression that they take tourists for fools.

The owner was attentive and helped make the stay especially pleasant. We found the service impeccable and the price good for what we got. The welcome was warm and professional, our room was comfortable and perfectly clean, and the peaceful atmosphere made it easy to relax. Breakfast was high quality, with fresh products. We’ll definitely come back!
