Le Grenier Occitan

There’s plenty to see nearby during a few days’ stay, from Carcassonne and Mirepoix to all the abbeys and castles. We stayed for several days and found the spacious rooms spotless and comfortable. Nathalie cooks fantastic meals, and breakfast brings something different each day. The local baker’s bread is as good as you’ll find anywhere. Nathalie and Erick are wonderful hosts, and I’d certainly recommend Le Grenier Occitan for a longer stay or a stop along the way.

Secure parking for both the car and bikes made things easy, and the house and rooms were spotless and very comfortable. We had three wonderful nights with Nathalie and Erick, who are charming and went out of their way to help. Breakfasts were delicious, with lively conversations in French, and dinner came with very good wines. We left feeling we’d made good friends and hope to come back. The surrounding area is, of course, a wonderful place to visit.

We arrived as foreigners and left feeling like friends. Natalie and Erick are charming and relaxed, always happy to offer tips on places to visit if you ask. The rooms are large, modern, tidy, full of art, and have comfortable beds for a good night’s sleep. Dinner was delicious and home-cooked, with handpicked music that was just awesome. Breakfast was great too, especially the handmade, mouthwatering marmalade, along with anything else you wanted. I’ll come back.

We were traveling with our nine-month-old, and this stay felt incredibly special. Natalie and Eric were friendly and attentive, going above and beyond to look after us. The room was spacious, clean, and beautiful, and dinner in the open garden was unforgettable. Everything about the stay felt perfect. We’ll definitely stay again and again.
