Camping Tikayan Golfe de Saint Tropez

The pool was one of the few good things, though it wasn't anything special. We came for two nights, and the mobile home was tiny but manageable, not pleasant. It was cheap, but even so the state of the place felt unacceptable. The receptionist was helpful, but we were charged fees we hadn't been told about when booking. We also had to pay an extra €35 for bedding and towels because none were provided. They don't supply anything at all, including toilet paper or hand soap. We arrived fairly late and hadn't realized, so we had no basics. The home wasn't clean: there were marks on the bedding even though we'd paid for fresh linen, marks on the walls, dead bugs in the lights, an open flame in the boiler, and a TV that didn't work. I could go on. We were scared to do much because of the €85 cleaning fee, so we couldn't relax. We ate at the restaurant on the first night and couldn't finish even half of our pizzas. They were so bad, it felt like a complete waste of money. The campsite says quiet hours are 11pm-8am, but they don't enforce them. Neighbours all around us were loud until 2am, so I couldn't sleep. Uncomfortable beds and heat made it worse, and the AC didn't seem to work well. The outside toilets were disgusting. I wouldn't recommend staying here, even for the price.
