Gîte La Source

The shaded garden, full of flowers, was such a nice place to unwind with Jura wine and Comté. Nadine has restored vintage finds that give the charming cottage a simple but lovely feel, and we felt right at home. She’s attentive and clearly passionate about the region, with plenty of favorite places and local tips to share. We’d happily recommend it.

Nadine was a fantastic hostess, so welcoming and friendly, and she knows the area really well. We had a great week in her gite, with a comfortable bed and a lovely garden looking out onto a beautiful view.

The gîte was a quiet, comfortable base for exploring the Jura, and there was plenty to do within a 45-minute radius. We were lucky with four days of beautiful weather. The owner was friendly and ready with advice whenever needed, without intruding. We had a great stay at a reasonable price.

The apartment was cozy and beautifully renovated, in a charming village. It’s a nice place to get back to basics 😉, with tourist attractions only 30 minutes away. We received a very warm welcome, and the hostess, who lives in the same semi-detached house, clearly wants guests to be happy. She was flexible about arrival and departure times, which we really appreciated, and nothing was missing. The apartment was a little hard to heat, though. We were disappointed when she knocked twice on Sunday, at 9:40 am and again at 7:30 pm, to check that everything was alright. We would have preferred a quick text or call instead of having our space interrupted while we were still in our pajamas or sitting at the table. If you enjoy personal interaction and a sense of community, this place is ideal. Still, it was a pleasant stay.
