We'd definitely come back to this lovely campground and recommend it to friends. The Queyras setting is beautiful, with routes in different directions nearby. Guillestre is a lovely place for restaurants and bars, and there's a supermarket close by. Pool entry at the municipal swimming pool is included in the price. The people working at the campground are friendly and helpful, and the showers and toilets are clean, with enough for the number of visitors. My only service complaint is the limited reception hours, since closing at 19:30 feels early to me.

The pitches are a good size, and it's a great campground. You can order bread each day, and there's a food truck three times a week. Access to the municipal pool is included with your stay.

We had a great full week here in late September 2023. The campground is well cared for, and the facilities were cleaned every day, even in low season. The people were really nice and helpful. There was also a great discount with the ACSI campingcard.

The campground was good, with a great location and a nice swimming pool, though you have to pay to use it. The showers and toilets were surprisingly clean. The downside was the nearest supermarket in Guillestre, which felt quite far away and was uphill. Getting there in the scorching heat wasn't pleasant.

We had a lovely two weeks at La Rochette, and I'm sure we'll be back. The mountain views all around were amazing when I first stepped out of my tent in daylight. It was handy for Dutch visitors to have someone at the campground they could ask questions in their language. The man at the bread shop got our order wrong three days in a row, which disappointed both us and him. I can let that go, though, since he gave us free croissants the next day.
