The seafood was inventive, the waterfront view was gorgeous, and the service was excellent. It was our best meal in a week traveling around Brittany. The staff had a great sense of humor and really suited the restaurant's name, Poisson d’Avril (April Fool’s). We enjoyed the house-made Breton rum enough to buy a bottle.

A really enjoyable lunch, with original cooking done very well. At £60 per head, it was a bargain for three fine dining style courses, plus two glasses of wine and coffee. Bravo!

Le poisson d'avril served fresh, delicious food with impeccable service, just how I like it. Yes, it was a bit expensive, but the taste, quality, and service made it worth every dime. If you visit the city, make sure you have a meal here.

It's been a few years since I spent a week at this lovely place, but the food is still just as good, top quality and perfectly done. The wine menu pairs well, and the prices are reasonable. The service is very friendly. I'd come back.
