ibis Styles Versailles Guyancourt

The crew were always helpful, and both breakfast and dinner were delicious, fresh, and enough. The room itself had problems: the air conditioner didn’t switch on automatically when the target temperature dropped, so I woke up to a quite cold room and a bad throat. The walls were dirty and needed paint, and a lot of wind came through the window frames, letting cold air in.

The hotel itself is nice, and the rooms and beds are good, but the service was really poor. On Saturday at 9:25 AM, with breakfast supposed to run until 10:00, the shelves were empty. There were no eggs, sausages, croissants, cold cuts, cheese, or any food at all. The person responsible for refilling things just said, “there’s no more,” with no explanation or apology. On earlier days, food also took a long time to arrive, though it eventually came. The cleaning lady said she’d come back later to clean my room, but never showed. At reception, the person didn’t stand up or even say goodbye or wish me a safe trip. Really, really poor.

The receptionist was understanding and patient, even though I arrived late. Breakfast was good, with neither too much nor too little. It’s a good hotel close to business attractions. A+.

I was comfortable staying here for a week. The staff were always sweet and helpful, and breakfast was good too. There are lots of restaurants right next to the hotel, so plenty of food choices, and the hotel restaurant is excellent for dinner. There’s also a lovely little park right behind it.
