Residhome Paris-Guyancourt

The apartment was a good size, clean, and had comfortable beds, including the fold-out one. The kitchenette was useful, and the parking felt secure. Two exhaust fans ran constantly, presumably to prevent mould. I liked the hum for sleeping, though others might find it irritating. Food nearby is mostly fast food, but the pizza we tried was excellent, and there’s a supermarket three to four minutes away on foot. I’d stay again when visiting Versailles: the palace is six to seven minutes away by car, while nearby hotels cost quite a bit more.

The rooms are all very small, and the replacement room was only okay. I asked for a clean room because I have OCD, and when I arrived and saw the state of the first one, I immediately asked to move. I also requested room service several times. They said they’d take care of it, but it never happened. After five days of asking reception and having them keep forgetting to clean, I got fed up with the poor system and demanded another room. I’m never staying here again.

The staff made the stay for me. Everyone I met was warm, professional, and quick to help, and the welcome from the moment I arrived was great. Residhome also has a fantastic location and a peaceful, welcoming feel. I liked the sitting lounge too, it added a bit of luxury. I’d happily come back, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend staying here.

The beds were uncomfortable, and breakfast didn't offer much choice. The room was a disappointment too, with an extractor fan humming all night that apparently can't be switched off.
