Europe Haguenau - Hôtel & Spa

We had a very good dinner at the restaurant, with excellent service, and there is plenty of free parking at the hotel. Check-in and checkout were both met with wonderful service. The room was fine and well appointed, and we enjoyed using the comfortable, well-designed spa and sauna area during our overnight stay.

We loved relaxing in the beautiful spa and wellness area, and the freshly renovated room was quiet, very clean, with an extremely comfortable bed. The hotel is well located, and every part of the team, from reception and breakfast to housekeeping and the restaurant, was friendly, professional, and keen to help. I've never seen so many smiles during a hotel stay! Breakfast was good quality. A non-dairy drink could be a standard option, though you can book one with your trip. At the restaurant terrace, the food and the very friendly, professional service were both great, and the fountain, landscaping, and palm trees gave the place a real holiday feel. We stayed for a four-day weekend and were very, very pleased. We'll come back! :-))

The stay was fine, but the family-friendly label on Google was misleading for us. Children under 16 can't enter the spa area at all. I could understand restrictions on the pool or sauna, but not the whole area. As a young couple, that made it hard for us to relax together. Families can't enjoy the hotel's main feature, so it shouldn't be listed as family friendly.

The spa was amazing, and the staff were great. It was a big plus that employees could speak English. Breakfast was good and had plenty of choice. The rooms felt a bit old-fashioned and could use fresh paint. Good stay overall.
