We had a room with one double and one single bed. It was clean, the beds were good, and the bathroom was large and comfortable. For €10,- pp, breakfast was very good, with fresh soft cheeses, strawberries, smoked salmon, and lots of unusual jams. The staff were friendly and spoke some English too, which isn’t standard in French hospitality.

We weren’t staying at the hotel, but unlike some earlier comments, we were welcomed for dinner. The food was amazing, if dear, and the service was lovely. Everyone was super kind. A pleasure to dine here.

We visited in low season and got a nice room for a very reasonable price. It’s a perfect stop for people following La Voie Verte along the Meuse, and there’s secure cycle storage. The food was a little plain but hearty, with a decent wine selection. Service was friendly and professional, though there’s no night desk after ten pm.

My brother and I have stayed here several times while visiting Chimey bike racing. Julian, his wife, and their staff are ace. Good food and a great place. See you guys next year, and thanks again.

So peaceful! We had a lovely stay and were looked after by warm, beautiful people, Max & Christel. The quiet surroundings and the beauty of the Ardennes were wonderful too. Grand merci!
