Domitys Les Cerneaux

The one thing I'd change is the schedule: check-in isn't possible before 5 pm, and check-out has to be by 10 am. That can be awkward for a short stay. Otherwise, the residence is modern and well kept, with welcoming, attentive staff. The apartment was roomy, clean, comfortable, and well equipped. It's beside a lovely park, close to both the town centre and train station. I'd happily recommend staying here in Hazebrouck.

The only drawback for us was the double bed, which is 140 cm wide. From our experience with other places, that's too narrow for two older people, even by French standards. We stayed for a week in a bright, modern apartment. It was clean and everything worked, with a little kitchen and refrigerator, a large bathroom, and a roomy living area. French breakfast is available. We enjoyed chatting with some of the residents, with Google Translate helping since we don't speak French. Many thanks to Stephanie for helping us in excellent English. We'll definitely be back.

We got to use the indoor pool from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, with massage jets and bubbles that start when you press a discreet button on the floor. The gym was available in the same hours, and everything was exceptionally clean. Breakfast was simple but plenty for us: pastries, bread, fruit juice, grapes, apricots, kiwi, dairy products, and jam. We were passing through Hazebrouck and decided to try an apartment at the Les Cerneaux senior residence. It opened in winter 2021, so it's brand new. Carine gave us a professional, friendly welcome. Our apartment was thoughtfully laid out and very clean, the bedding was impeccable, and there was a small balcony looking over green space. It was a great idea for Domitys to make some unassigned apartments available to travelers. We had friendly intergenerational exchanges with residents who seemed glad to meet travelers. Quiet, clean, and exceptional value: 70 euros for two people including breakfast on the booking site. We were completely satisfied and highly recommend staying here. Go for it without hesitation!

Breakfast came included and was served in the apartment. A lovely place to stay, both the apartment and residence, for a first one-night visit. Highly recommended if you're stopping nearby.
