For 65 euros a night I had a comfortable bed, a decent shower, and internet. Nothing fancy, but it was clean. McDonald’s is about five minutes away. I stayed here during a three-day battlefield visit and enjoyed it.

It was acceptable.

There was no reception, though the directions were clear. Breakfast was left in the room the night before, so it wasn’t especially fresh or unlimited, but there was enough. The Wi-Fi was terrible. The room itself was large, baroque in style, nicely decorated, quiet, and looked over the shared garden. It did feel dated, especially the TV and shower, which both need updating.

The Wi-Fi was so bad I couldn’t stay connected for office work, and the TV picture was painfully dated, enough to make you reach for eye drops, honestly. Breakfast in the room the night before was convenient, but very basic. The room hadn’t been cleaned, cobwebs filled every corner, and the chair was broken. I’d avoid this place.
