From room 5, you can see Bay Chingoudy from the bed. That room is compact but laid out well; room 7 is bigger and has a balcony with the view. The hotel is a five-minute walk from the beach, with supermarkets even nearer, and nights were quiet during the week. The bed was comfortable, and the service, reception, and cleanliness all felt five-star. The rating for equipment would be only two stars, though, since there was no kettle or minibar. The view really does match the hotel's name.

We wouldn't choose this hotel again. We booked a double online and were put in room 10, which isn't pictured on the site, while other double rooms looked fine in their photos. Ours was tiny, had no balcony like the others, and the skirting-board paint was chipped. There was no air conditioning, and a fan had been left running in the room. The exterior needs repainting and the whole property needs a lot of upkeep. When I checked the reviews, this room seemed to get the most complaints, so it's no surprise there are no photos of it.

Breakfast came in a generous portion, though everything on offer was sweet. The people serving us were very kind, and I have only good things to say about the service.
