Le Domaine du Chalonge

Our guests were as taken with Domaine du Chalonge as we were on our first visit. The courtyard is lovely, with a little central garden and cottages all around, each with its own character. The venue had everything we needed: fans in every bedroom, sheets and towels, and a hairdryer for anyone who wanted one. The biggest cottage had a kitchen that worked perfectly for Friday evening and Saturday lunch before the guests arrived, along with a pleasant living room and a billiard room. The two reception rooms have beautiful old stone walls. We used one for our first dance and then the rest of the dancing. The other held the guest book, photo booth and arcade machine, which guests young and old enjoyed. For our secular ceremony and cocktail reception, the large grounds, partly shaded, gave our photographers plenty to work with. The marquee fitted our meal, with a suitable catering area. There was a small electrical issue, but it was quickly sorted, and we had lots of equipment provided, including round and rectangular tables, chairs and high tables. The Domaine team supported us, answered questions and stayed available throughout the planning. I was nervous about possible problems and how the weekend would go, but everything turned out perfectly. We celebrated this summer and left a little time afterward for our loved ones to share feedback and for the feelings from that magical weekend to settle. Thank you for your care and support, and for being part of a day our loved ones will remember. Future brides and grooms who are hesitating, don't wait. You'll be delighted.

The place looked exactly like the pictures, absolutely magnificent, and was impeccably clean for a cottage of this size. The amenities were excellent quality and very well maintained. I booked it for a birthday celebration last weekend, and everything went perfectly thanks to Laurent and his team. Laurent in particular was very responsive, and the team was highly professional. I'd definitely rent it again for future events!

The peaceful setting and lovely grounds made it easy to relax. We had a wonderful family weekend at this beautiful, authentic, welcoming estate. There was plenty of space, and the kitchen and accommodation capacity worked perfectly for our group of 45.

Domaine de Chalonge was a cozy, welcoming place for our end-of-year seminar. The staff were incredibly attentive, and the service was excellent. Everything came together for a successful event. Thank you so much!
