Hôtel La Source

The restaurant serves simple but very good meals, and you can choose one or all of them. Our room had a great view of the sanctuary entrance. The Grotte is very close, yet the hotel is quiet and peaceful. At the lobby, a smiling person greeted us at the desk, and check-in was quick and easy.

Mandy and Laurenz deserve a special mention for their service. Mandy made booking the room easy when I first called, and her warm smile and helpful manner at check-in made us feel at home. We'll remember her kindness. Our first trip to Lourdes was a dream come true, and staying at Hotel La Source made it even more special. It's very close to the Miraculous Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes, and the hotel is clean. The lobby café, open 24/7, was a lovely touch. We hope to return to Lourdes soon, and Hotel La Source will be our only choice. Thanks for making the stay unforgettable!

The rooms were very clean, and the view was fantastic. It's a convenient location, within walking distance of both restaurants and the sanctuary. The hotel looks okay, the quality is okay, and the price is good for what you get.

The bathroom smell was absolutely disgusting, so bad it woke me one night. The breakfast was a joke for 7€ per person: no hot options, low-quality products, very little choice, and only the coffee was okay. The receptionist we met was quite harsh and unwelcoming, and wouldn't give us extra shower gel sachets when we asked, which seemed unusual given there was only one in the bathroom each day. There were plenty of good points too: the hotel is right by the sanctuary entrance, with beautiful views. The rooms were spacious and quiet, the beds clean and comfortable, and housekeeping came daily. There was air conditioning, more than one lift, and everything was close by. It's an old establishment, but generally kept in good condition. It's a busy hotel, so some things are understandable, but the smell needs fixing and breakfast needs improvement.
