Breakfast was excellent, and the Scottish couple who own and run the place are welcoming and friendly. The room is small but comfortable. It may look away from the centre, but it’s only a gentle six-minute walk to the heart of town. There’s no tea or coffee in the room.

Amanda made us feel at ease straight away and was so welcoming and easy to deal with. She even helped us book a tour in Caen. The location worked perfectly for us, with a short walk to the main square, bus station, and a fun hike up to an overlook. Fantastic accommodations!

The two-room apartment worked perfectly for our family of five, and the breakfast was delicious. The bed and breakfast is lovely, with extraordinary hosts and an excellent location. We only wish we'd had more time there.

We had a perfect welcome from the charming hostess. Breakfast was great, and the place is quiet and kind, close to the harbor, town centre and restaurants. For this city, it’s a really good quality for the price. Highly recommended.

We’re already looking forward to coming back in the Spring. It’s a fabulous place in the old bohemian part, near quirky shops, studios and restaurants. Our French hound Jp loved it too! Jane and Sarah and Jean Pierre
