Edouard made our visit memorable with his warm, engaging way of sharing Normandy’s apple and pear spirit traditions. He explained each drink from orchard to bottle and clearly took pride in the history, production, and regional customs behind them. We left with a few delicious bottles and a much deeper appreciation for the subject. Highly recommended if you value authentic stories and great service. He did more than sell calvados, cider, and poiré, he brought them to life.

We don’t usually drink these kinds of spirits, so the woman in the shop explained how best to approach Calvados and let us taste a couple of brands and types to compare. She was really helpful and clearly knew her stuff.

The proprietor was a wonderful guide to the different Calvados varieties. She spoke English patiently and helped me choose a few bottles to take home. The prices were very reasonable compared with shops in St Malo. I’d definitely recommend stopping by when you’re in Honfleur.

The woman running the shop spoke English and gave us plenty of advice, along with four different tastings before we picked a bottle to buy. She was also keen to help me practice my french. We had a great experience.

The owner gave us a great tasting tailored to what we like. She knows a lot about calvados and takes real pride in her service. We learned that there’s much more to it than most of us realize, then left with several different varieties to enjoy. This is by far the best place in Honfleur to buy calvados, and we’ll always remember where we got ours.
