B&B HOTEL Hyères

The rooms and breakfast were good for the price. But the service needs a rethink. I couldn't get into reception before check-in time, and there was no way to leave my bags for later pickup or get a late checkout without paying to extend the stay. Fine if all you need is a bed for the night.

Everything was well suited to what we needed, and I was impressed by the service quality and the amenities available to guests. The instructions were clear, and check-in was fully automated and easy to use. I'd definitely recommend this hotel and book more nights at the same chain in other cities.

The room had no soundproofing, so neighbours and nearby road traffic were easy to hear. The front desk staff were barely friendly, which makes it seem like the hotel is struggling or doesn't give a damn about quality for passing customers. The building is old and neglected, with dirty, run-down common areas and a scratched-up lift in poor condition. You reach the rooms from outside, like at a dodgy motel. The Google photos are misleading and look like they're from last century. I wouldn't stay here again, even for one night.

The location was handy for getting around by car, close to the main road, and a ten-minute walk into the town center. I also appreciated the free car park with plenty of spaces. My room was new and well maintained, though small, but it suited the kind of holiday I took. The large shower was a plus.
