Karine gave us such a warm welcome at Gîte du Pagoulin, and we’ll definitely be back. The place is surrounded by nature but still just a short walk from town, in a charming setting. The hosts were kind, attentive, and happy to share useful tips about the area. Breakfast was exceptional, with fresh local products. We loved being around their animals, the donkeys, goats and chickens, and Martie the goose even showed us around the garden! It’s a real gem, clearly run by people who care. Thanks so much to Karine! Karine is quick to help or offer advice, and her breakfasts are superb, with homemade cakes and jams. The cottage is very peaceful and surrounded by greenery. It’s also convenient, about a 15-minute walk from the train station and a 20-minute bike ride to the sea and salt marshes.

Everything was just right, with a natural setting close to the city and no light pollution. Karine is an exceptional host and cook, and I loved the generous homemade breakfasts. I had a great week-long stay at the end of February 2026. A huge thank you to Karine, I highly recommend this place!

Karine and Damien’s cottage was lovely, clean and comfortable, and my son and I had a really pleasant week there. We especially enjoyed Karine’s generous breakfasts and delicious cakes, as well as their wonderful garden, which felt like a haven for biodiversity. The Giens peninsula has some lovely walks and things to discover. Thanks to Karine for being kind, thoughtful and attentive. We’d gladly come back :))

The gîte is set in lovely countryside, surrounded by animals and beautiful scenery, and the nearby roads made it easy to reach Hyères’ main attractions and the surrounding towns. Karine was a wonderful host, naturally kind, always smiling and available, and full of helpful advice. She also adjusted breakfast to suit our needs, and it was excellent. We had a wonderful stay and can’t wait to return next year.
