We went to have lunch and fill up our camper with water, but the place was closed when we arrived in the parking area. The owner is apparently a great person: he can go into your camper and take your car keys when you’re not looking. You have to give him 20 euros to get them back, or he’ll call the police and accuse you of stealing HIS water. There was no sign saying it was a private area, just a big RESTAURANT HOTEL sign. Best drinking water in the area! Best wishes to the nice owner. Visit at your own risk!

The hotel itself seems fine, but the maintenance was awful. Several electrical sockets in our room didn’t work, and neither did the television. We reported this to the staff, who seemed unconcerned. The swimming pool water was filthy as well. A disappointing stay for my family of four.

Our group of bikers stayed for three days, and everything went smoothly. Franck and Maria were kind and welcoming, and the rooms were comfortable and very clean. Meals were hearty and made with local products. Breakfast had local bread, croissants, jams and homemade apple juice, among other things. There was even a large garage for our bikes. Thanks to Franck and Maria, we’ll definitely be back! 😉
