We booked at the last minute in mid-January and were really touched by how kind the hosts were. The place is spacious and beautiful, with very comfortable beds. Breakfast was excellent too, especially the homemade jams and honey. A great spot to recommend.

We stayed one lovely night on August 14, 2024, at Jardin des Paons in Issac (24). It's a peaceful, relaxing place with a magnificent view over the village. The owners were attentive and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was generous and just right, with homemade jam I highly recommend. It's a good base for exploring the Dordogne region, not far from Périgueux. Many thanks.

We had such a lovely vacation here!!! Fishing was a fun new experience with a real pro showing us the ropes. The house was spotless, the hosts were so friendly, and the welcome was warm. You can feel how much love goes into everything. And the breakfast was delicious!!!

The estate has an incredible outlook over the village and countryside, and the hosts can point you toward things to see in the region. If you feel like staying put, there are ponds for fishing, with gear and advice kindly provided by Roland, or animals to feed, including goats, sheep, and peacocks. Béatrice cooked delicious, generous meals for us. Breakfast felt just like home, and our room was pleasant and spotlessly clean. Everything was perfect. We will be back. Dominique and Stéphane.

We could enjoy the whole weekend without any hassle, and it was such a relaxing stay in this peaceful place. The hosts are absolutely wonderful. There's also a lake for fishing, though those pike are tough to catch... ;) THANK YOU!
