Apartment in the Center of Paris by Studioprestige

The biggest issues were the lack of privacy and ventilation. This is a former shop turned into an apartment, with a large-mesh shutter and curtains that don’t block the view from outside. We caught passersby looking in several times, even at night. There are no opening windows, so there’s no way to air the rooms; as other guests have mentioned, the summer temperature can go above 35 degrees and make the place unlivable. We stayed in August through booking.com. The sofa bed was uncomfortable, and the sheets we were given were dirty and worn. This place is nowhere near “prestigious.” When we raised the problems, the property refused a refund and wouldn’t work with the booking platform to find us somewhere else. Their only suggestion was to stick sheets of paper over the window. I strongly advise against staying here. A commercial space converted into a home without meeting basic living standards should be reported and removed from the platform.
