We had a roomy two bedroom apartment with a private kitchen and bathroom, both very practical to use. There was space for four or even more people. The accommodation was good, and some lovely cycling routes are easy to reach on or near the mountains.

The apartment's size and location suited us, and the heating warmed up quickly. We slept comfortably, though the blanket needs a wash because it smelled unpleasant. The kitchen had plenty of equipment. The cleaning needs work: there were brown hairs in lots of corners, coffee marks, and an uncleaned floor, despite my being blonde. The TV only picked up channels 1 to 3, so evenings may drag if those aren't to your taste.

The cottage is spacious and pleasant, in a beautiful house, with efficient heating and a very new shower. The price was reasonable for the area. Still, it's a shame to see the house so poorly maintained. The windows looked out onto the owner's personal rubbish dump, and although cleaning is expected, the sponges were dirty and there were no dishcloths. I would've given it four stars otherwise.

It's in a dilapidated state, with an almost horror movie feel. The cleaning was awful too, with overused sponges full of hair. The worst place I've ever come across.

An old villa with lots of character.
