From the terrace you can see the Eiffel Tower in the distance, and the location is excellent. The room was spacious and clean. The downsides were booklice showing up now and then, possibly because the extractor fans weren’t working properly and moisture was building up. The dryers had also stopped working.

Check-in was straightforward, and the instructions worked just as they should. We found the aparthotel quiet and stylish, with a local neighborhood feel. It was perfect for our family traveling together, and I’d highly recommend staying here if you want to be in this part of Paris.

We never received the 30% refund Numa had promised. They kept saying it had been issued but wouldn’t send confirmation, and after weeks of changing explanations, Airbnb told us Numa hadn’t processed it at all. Airbnb ended up covering the refund after we escalated the issue. The whole experience felt deceptive, with misinformation and promises that weren’t kept. I wouldn’t recommend booking with Numa or YAYS; when something goes wrong, it seems they’ll keep denying it until Airbnb gets involved. We booked YAYS Paris Issy by Numa because it was advertised with air conditioning, then found it had been disabled for the season. At first they said they’d switch it to cooling, then later said they couldn’t. The apartment was uncomfortably hot, which was especially distressing for my pregnant wife.

The WhatsApp replies came through, but it didn’t feel like anyone was managing things on site very well. We tried the luggage lockers several times over a few days and nights, and they never opened. We asked for help, but nobody showed up. The rooms are close to public transport and bakeries, but they’re very small and dusty. We had a double bed and a sofa bed for the kids.

We stayed with our two kids, and the apartment felt spacious compared with others we’d looked at. The beds were really comfortable, and everything was spotless. From the rooftop there are lovely views across Paris. It’s on the outskirts of the city, in a nice, fairly quiet area. The Metro and RER C stations are nearby, though keep in mind that RER trains coming from Paris don’t stop at Issy, so you can only use it to get into the city. Getting into the building and room was easy with the code sent on arrival day. There’s no staff on site, but they responded quickly on WhatsApp when I had a question.
