Those four nights were hell. The room was tiny, with nowhere to put my laptop bag except on the bed, and there wasn’t even a bedside table. The door had no lock, and I was given no key. The landlady came into my room while I was lying on the bed without clothes, in a compromising position. I also had bed bug bites, and four days after the trip I still had blisters all over my body. I don’t know how long they’ll last. The shared bathroom smelled bad. The sheets and linen were never changed. Breakfast was included, but all I got was coffee and toast with butter, no eggs or cereal. I was told to take my shoes off at the entrance, ordered to switch off all the lights in the house even though I hadn’t turned them on, and wasn’t allowed to put a water bottle on the table in my room or anywhere else in the house.

Please avoid this place. It felt like a dirty, dark apartment run by an older couple, not a proper bed and breakfast, and I didn’t feel comfortable from the moment I arrived. The room shown in the photos wasn’t real: I’d booked a big bed, but the room I was given was a child’s room with two single beds. I paid 90 euros. For comparison, I booked Hotel Paris d'Issy in Mairie d'Issy for 112 euros, which cost more but at least felt worth the price. The bathroom wasn’t private either. Guests from other rooms shared it, and the woman wrote down shower times to schedule everyone. Worst of all, there was no lock on the bedroom door. The owner opened it several times while I was asleep, which scared me. He was a very weird old guy. Such a shame.

I wasn't allowed to eat in the room, and they didn't replace the garbage bags, just emptied them. The room also had a lot of dust collectors. Breakfast was the same every day: coffee, tea, four jams, a baguette and a croissant, though you could choose what time to have it. The price didn't include tax, which was 2.5 euros per person per night. There were picture frames in the restroom. The room's glass door didn't lock, and we had a curtain at our disposal. Its patio door opened onto another glass door from the living room. While we were out, the owner moved things from one cupboard to another.

I booked a double bed and private bathroom, but got a tiny child's room with two small beds and a shared bathroom. The owner even wrote down everyone's shower times to rotate guests. The photos and room description didn’t match what was there, and I paid 90 euros for it. Hygiene was poor, there were no keys for the doors, and the husband came into the room while we were asleep. I was really scared that night. I complained through the booking site and won my case. This is not a bed and breakfast, but an unsanitary apartment where a couple is making money off guests. I’m surprised it’s still listed. Run away.

It was close to the subway, and the bathroom was clean. But the room door wouldn’t lock, and during daily cleaning the hotel took all my personal luggage out of the room. I didn’t like that.
