The room was spotless, and the shower was one of the best I've had, with proper hot water and pressure. Staff were lovely and helpful, and the 24-hour concierge meant I could return late. I stayed three nights in a small single room. It had a comfortable large twin or small double bed and a fan, which I really needed in the hot weather. I was out all day, so the size worked well for me. The hotel is a little outside Paris, but it suited the festival I was attending and the metro into the centre took about 20 minutes. Shops and restaurants are nearby. It looks a bit dated in photos, but it's clean and comfortable, and great value for exploring Paris.

The place is friendly and good value, run by some nice guys. My room was clean and kept up well, but I didn't like that it looked onto a corridor and had no privacy. I'd suggest asking for a room "a cote la rue".

The bus stops right outside, and the metro is not far away. There's also a small supermarket around the corner. Staff were very friendly. Rooms are a little small, but fine for a night or two. The bathrooms are mediocre, though acceptable for this price range.

The staff didn't speak English, and breakfast was very basic for 8.50 euros. The bath was awful and the washbasin was clogged. It was also too far from central Paris, so I spent a lot on transport. I regret staying here and won't come back.
