Comfort Hotel Paris Porte D'Ivry

The reception staff are rude, and you can hear everything happening in the room next door. The rooms are tiny, the beds are small, and instead of pillows there are just cushions. No tea or coffee setup in the room, and there are no facilities to speak of. The place is filthy and completely run down, honestly shocking and disgusting. How did it get three stars? Breakfast is overpriced and run by one bloke. Avoid.

Natalia was really nice and helped us get settled, even though we didn’t speak French. She did a great job accommodating us, and I was so happy to have someone as considerate as her helping out.

Our first European trip got off to a rough start, but the staff here turned things around. Everyone we dealt with was helpful, polite, friendly, and kind, really going above and beyond. As an American traveling in these crazy times for my daughter’s birthday, I can say that meant a lot. I can’t wait to plan a return trip :)

Someone booked this place for us, and it was dirty. Candy wrappers were under the bed, there was hair in the shower, and the hallway looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in ages. One friend had to switch rooms because the shower bar was completely loose. The location’s maybe the best part, since it’s close to the highway to get the hell out of here. Wouldn’t recommend.
