We found this lovely Chambre d'hote at the last minute for our ride over Col de La Bonette, and were so glad we did. The hosts were warm and the breakfast was fab, just what we needed before taking on the mighty climb. We'd happily come back.

Christophe and Heidi know the cycling roads around Bonette, Vars, Izoard, Cayolle and Allos well, and were glad to share what they’d learned as keen bikers. We had a great base for riding, with clean, cozy themed rooms, a full breakfast and a delicious dinner. They’re lovely hosts, and it seems like a good spot for walking or skiing too. Thanks!

If you’re riding from Nice to Geneva, this small family-run hotel in Jausiers is right where the descent from Bonette ends. The owner had just returned from his own ride when I arrived, and was happy to talk through local cycling routes. He also provided a secure place for my velo. A great stop for cyclists.
