Hôtel La Casa Rossa & Spa

The room was comfortable and had quiet air conditioning, and the staff were polite and helpful. The town is less than a 10-minute walk away. Breakfast was simple French fare, with fresh fruit and bread, plus a choice of jams and cheeses. The pool was cleaned regularly, and even when it was busy there were usually sunbeds available. Hiring a pool towel cost €2 per person, which seemed fair. My only complaint was that there was no bin in the room. When we asked, we were told to take our rubbish to the roadside bins and recycling.

Hotel Casa Rossa was a great find. We were in Corsica during summer, and the swimming pool was essential. The rooms were very comfortable, recently renovated, and had air conditioning. Friendly staff, parking on site, and an easy walk into town.

The hotel itself is good, but there was hardly any cleaning in the room. You have to pay for pool towels, and that wasn't mentioned anywhere. They also don't serve food or drinks after 11 a.m. More than anything, the staff were very rude, especially the manager, who showed no service-mindedness or manners. I'd recommend staying somewhere else.

We used this as a base for exploring and it worked really well. L'ile Rousse town is about a 10-minute walk away. The little pool was lovely, and whenever we wanted a sunbed there was one free. Staff were helpful and friendly. It was extremely hot at night, so thank goodness the air conditioning worked well. I'd definitely recommend it.
