The cozy room, dim lighting, and lit fireplace made dinner feel really homey, and the service was memorable too. My family and I ate at Le Cheval Blanc in La Bastide des Jourdans last week while I was staying in France. We started with foie gras, had pork with purée, then finished with local cheeses. It tasted so good I forgot to take photos. I'll remember the whole evening, from the food and service to the place itself.

The staff were both professional and friendly, and the atmosphere was lovely. The food was excellent. If you have time to arrange it ahead, I’d definitely suggest the bouillabaisse.

We had a lovely meal and stay. Laurent and Eva made us feel at home in their handsome auberge, with its beautiful gardens, peaceful feel, and lovely pool. The village is close to Luberon mountains national park and handy for the a51. Laurent’s food was excellent. Our group tried most of the set menu, the sort of thing you might expect at a michelin starred restaurant, though the price was very reasonable.
