The sea view from my room was breathtaking, and I found the spa heavenly. Breakfast and turndown service both felt thoughtful. As a solo traveler, I felt warmly welcomed and cared for, without any stuffiness. Hotel Barrière Le Royal La Baule wrapped comfort in pure elegance, and the whole stay was unforgettable. It’s the sort of place that helps you slow down and really relax, whether you're traveling alone, as a couple, or with family.

The food was scrumptious, especially the seafood, and I ate plenty while still losing a few pounds. I also went for sea baths several times a day. We've stayed here many times and always love coming back. It's a very family-friendly five-star hotel, right on the beach with an amazing view. The scenery and grand gardens are lovely, and the staff are exceptional.

The rooms are comfortable, with lovely luxury linens, and the food is amazing. We also enjoyed relaxing in the bar. The hotel feels classy without being pretentious, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and a delight. The Concierge team were especially helpful, Youri in particular. They even sent us on our way home with cartons of water and local caramels. A beautiful hotel that didn't disappoint. We'll return.

The spa is lovely, and the hotel has a beautiful view of the Atlantic and a huge stretch of beach. Breakfast was included in our room rate and was delicious, and the staff were very accommodating. I love this pretty hotel. It's a wonderful place to stay when visiting La Baule and Brittany, a beautiful part of France about three hours west of Paris by train. Don't miss the area if you get the chance.

The exterior is beautiful, and the bar is great. Those huge sea views are incredible, and the staff were super friendly. The receptionists were alert, kind, and helpful, and the chambermaids did a great job. The food and buffet breakfast were okay. We would like to come back because of the staff, but I hope the hotel's issues get some attention. I think the rooms need renovating. They're a bit old, one cabinet was somewhat damaged, and the carpet makes noise. The buffet plates and glasses looked dirty, maybe the machine isn't working properly.
