The location right on the beachfront is excellent. You can walk to Le Pouliguen, or take a longer walk into central La Baule. The rooms are reasonably priced, but ours was tiny. The first room we were offered only had a skylight, so I asked to change rooms. I thought the evening meals were very average, with no choice, so I’d avoid Demi-pension. The hotel has a lot of potential because of its location, but feels a little dated in its approach. The woman serving in the bar was a bit bossy when we just wanted to sit quietly on the terrace.

The room was tiny, but the sea view was great.
