The rooms have a lovely traditional feel and were very clean, and the food was good too. Elke and the whole team were amazing. The hotel is a great base for skiing, with the Chapelle ski lift just a short walk away or a shuttle to Chatel. Porte Du Soleil is right on the doorstep, and Châtel and Abondance are nearby.

We had a superb family week in the first week of February, though it went by too fast. The Belgian cook made really delicious local food, and the atmosphere felt homely. Alke had arranged a night snowshoe walk with torches, and there was an interesting wine tasting too. See you next time!

Our small family got to have the whole hotel to ourselves over Christmas, and Alke and his incredible team made it a magical holiday. We felt completely at home in the snow-covered Esprit de Montagne and left with lovely memories. The wine tasting, an enchanting evening walk, a BBQ in the snow, and seven wonderful dinners were all delightful surprises, the perfect icing on the cake.

The Dutch and Belgian staff are lovely. Service is so friendly, the food is good, prices are very reasonable, and the rooms are nice.
