The homemade restaurant meals were a highlight, with Cantal specialties done really well. Philippe and Véronique gave us a fabulous welcome, and our room was comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was excellent too. Gil and Do SALON.

Philippe is happy to share his love of the area, and Véronique makes delicious Cantal food. The inn is warmly welcoming and sits in a handy spot between Le Lioran’s hiking and ski slopes, the Planèze plateau, and Saint-Flour.

I liked the place and would happily recommend it. The room was impeccable, the meal delicious, and the hosts very kind. The innkeepers aren’t very talkative, that’s true, but they’re incredibly efficient. If I’d let the negative comments put me off, I’d have missed a really lovely detour. Everyone should try it for themselves.

The meals are filling, and the prices are good for what you get. Breakfast had a nice mix of sweet and savory choices. The staff are friendly and clearly passionate about the region, and the room was comfortable in a quiet spot.

The innkeepers were so friendly and welcoming, and breakfast, included in the stay, was very generous. Our spacious room had a queen-size bed and was immaculate, with plenty of character in the rugs, leather armchairs, and hardwood floors. There are only a few rooms here. The restaurant serves authentic food, with lots of Cantal specialties and homemade local cocktails. Highly recommended!
