Right in the old town, with a few bars and restaurants close by. After a long, exhausting bike ride in the heat, arriving here felt like a real treat. The place is cozy, though it can get warm in summer before cooling off in the evening. The owner was lovely too.

We stayed for one night while cycling and could leave our bikes in the cellar. The rooms are lovely, the decor is tasteful, and the food was very good. We felt warmly welcomed.

The house and our room have such tasteful decor, and there was a shared kitchen stocked with coffee, tea, and jam for breakfast. We could leave our bikes somewhere safe, which was reassuring. The host was friendly, pleasant, and easy to reach. We had a lovely stay at Emmeline's ♥️, in a charming town steeped in history.

We had plenty of room in this independent townhouse and it felt like home. The bathrooms and kitchen are stylish and well equipped, and both bedrooms were spotless with a very current look. It's right in the heart of La Charité, and the owner is so kind and happy to do what she can to make things easier. I definitely recommend it.
