The chalet has so much soul, and my room was very cozy. Natural materials are used throughout, and there's an outdoor seating spot with a great view. For a group of friends, there's also a small bar area in the cellar with a Jukebox. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. We don't speak French, but he greeted us every day with breakfast and a big smile. If you'd like to try local cheeses, choose the breakfast option. There's no need to order a cheese board at a restaurant 🤩

We rented the chalet for eight people in summer. The rooms were clean and cozy, with an authentic chalet feel. Daniel, who grew up in the village, is a very friendly guy and a great host. He even prepared a nice evening meal for all of us. Recommended!

Our room was small but perfect for us, comfortable, clean, and with a very functional shower room. The chalet is well located in La Clusaz, so we hardly needed the car for shops, restaurants, or hiking. And the breakfast deserves a special mention: local cheeses, including an excellent Reblochon, had me in heaven for the rest of the day :-) Barna and Daniel, the owner, were incredibly kind, their service was exceptional, and their advice was always welcome. A place to remember!

We were glad we'd booked just one night. Our room was small, with a small window that made it very dark, and although the bathroom was very recent and the shower clean, the toilet hadn't been cleaned. We could hear the neighbors using the bathroom and shower when they came into their room. Really not great! The welcome itself was pleasant. After paying a little over €100 for the room, we politely mentioned the problems to the owner the next day. He said the toilet must have been used again after cleaning, and that he'd probably forgotten to close "an airlock" to keep out the noise. He didn't apologize. We hadn't planned to have breakfast, and thank goodness: at 9 a.m. there were already three fresh cigarette butts in the ashtray in the room where breakfast is prepared. We won't remember this address fondly, and we don't recommend it.

The guest room we had was perfectly equipped and had a small balcony with a superb mountain view. Daniel Ruphy welcomed us very kindly and paid close attention to our needs. It's an authentic chalet dating back to 1880, renovated to preserve its charm. We had a dream stay and would love to come back. Thank you again, Daniel.
