We booked the family room, which was very spacious and had three double beds. Just a heads-up if you have tiny children, strollers aren’t allowed in that room. The setting was spectacular, a lovely way to get a feel for the French countryside.

If you love stone, wood, slate, and beautiful terracotta tiles, this place is a feast for the eyes. I especially enjoyed putting on my slippers and walking across the wooden floors, and it was a pleasure to admire the historic buildings. The owner was very friendly and told us about his travels in Ecuador. Thanks for such a lovely experience. 🐶 says thanks too.

We had a ground-floor room, and there was a veranda available with a TV, Wi-Fi, and everything needed for a snack, including a microwave, coffee maker, and refrigerator. Breakfast was very generous, and the host gave us a warm welcome. He’s friendly, loves the region, and suggested some lovely places and restaurants. I’d highly recommend him and his hunting lodge, a beautifully renovated 18th-century building.

After a day of cycling, the owner offered us dinner, a simple meal but a very good one, and the whole family enjoyed it. We had a wonderfully peaceful stay in the heart of the Breton countryside, in a very spacious room for five. The welcome was so warm.
