We loved the mountain views and all the natural light in the ground-floor apartment. Our family of four stayed in the smaller unit, which has windows everywhere and a balcony wrapping around two sides. It was spotless, comfortable for up to five, and had all the appliances we needed, plus its own parking space. Google Maps got us there easily. Le Plan is extremely quiet in summer, though you’ll need to drive a few kilometres to La Giettaz for shops and essentials. Some walking routes begin right at the door. We enjoyed the hike to Tete du Torraz, which isn’t difficult and has a stunning view of Mont Blanc. On certain summer days you can take the chairlift up instead. Col d'Aravis is also only a few kilometres away and is especially worth seeing when visibility is good.

The stream beside the chalet made the peaceful surroundings especially relaxing after skiing. We had a wonderful week in Le Courti at Chalet Le Ramadieu, with four adults and three children, and the layout worked well for everyone. The place is well equipped, and we even got to enjoy the terrace loungers in winter. The slopes are so close that it takes only about 30 seconds to get your ski boots on. Julie was quick to respond and available when we had questions or small issues. A couple of things could be better: we arrived around 4:30 PM instead of the planned 4:00 PM because we hadn't been sent the key box instructions. The bedding was fine, but the pillows weren't very comfortable. In the room with the double bed and bunk beds, the ventilation made a constant noise, with a louder fan sound for a few minutes now and then, probably from the heat pump. It took a little getting used to. Those are minor points, and we'd still like to come back next year. The setting was beautiful and the weather was fantastic.

Julie was so welcoming and helpful. We spent a wonderful holiday in this cosy, well equipped chalet, tucked into a very quiet hamlet that’s great for relaxing. There are lots of lovely hiking trails right nearby.
