For what you get, this place is too expensive. The hotel looks nice, but it wasn't very clean, and I don't think it's worth the price. Breakfast wasn't great either: they served day-old bread and the juices weren't fresh. I do not recommend staying here.

The view was nice, though you can get one like it elsewhere in La Grave. The owners came across as arrogant and incompetent, and the reception was terrible. They didn't seem to know what hospitality means. Do yourself a favor and book somewhere else.

We loved the spa, though it cost an extra 14 Euro per person, and breakfast was very good. Our chalet was beautiful and much bigger than we expected. For the price, it felt like we got far more than we would from a basic American hotel room. The owners were really friendly and spoke to us in English, which we appreciated since we're only just starting to learn French. From our balcony in 802, a tree blocked the view of La Meije, but we could see it through another chalet window. Such a lovely stay!

The hotel room had extraordinary views, and the area was a good base for exploring the alps. The room was spacious and tidy, the staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was good quality. There was also a nice pool.
